Batesville 7th Grade Boys Basketball

The Batesville 7th grade Middle School Boys Basketball won their Home Opener against cross-county rivals St. Louis Cardinals by a score of 38 – 23. The Bulldogs got off to a great start by scoring the first 9 points of the game with Carson Meyer getting a steal that lead to points and a foul. The Bulldogs held their own on defense and kept the cardinals to only 11 points in the first half. The Bulldogs would continue to share the ball on the offensive in the second half and kept at least a 10-point lead all night. The Bulldogs were led in scoring by Jackson Peetz with 12, Carson Meyer with 10, Camden Kaiser with 6, Eli Denni with 4, Liam Wanger, Winston Garret, and Levi Hunt with 2.

The Bulldogs are now 2-2 on the season and look to face Jac-Cen-Del at home on Tuesday, November 15th, and South Decatur away on Thursday, November 17th.
