(Greensburg, IN) – Decatur County REMC Board Member Jason Barnhorst has been elected Treasurer of the Hoosier Energy Board of Directors.
The Hoosier Energy Board is composed of 17 directors—one representative from each of Hoosier Energy’s member distribution cooperatives.
These board members are elected by their respective local co-op boards.
Barnhorst has served as Decatur County REMC’s appointed Hoosier Energy representative for the past six years.
“This role is an opportunity to continue advocating for our member systems while helping guide Hoosier Energy’s financial future,” Barnhorst said. “I’m honored by the trust my fellow board members have placed in me.”
