Barbara Wade Schuler

BarbaraWade Schuler, 76, of Aurora, Indiana, passed away February 21, 2017.

Barbara was born March 6, 1940 in Dunnville, KY, daughter of the late G. B. Wade and Frances Wade

Barbara attended elementary school in Casey County and graduated from Berea Foundation High School. She was the Co-Owner and Office Manager of WSCH Radio for 33 years. Barbara was also Co-Founder of John Schuler Tours where she worked as an office administrator. Barbara served as a Deacon at the First Baptist Church of Aurora, where she was also active in the Stephens Ministries. In the past she volunteered as a “Pink Lady” for the Dearborn County Hospital Auxiliary. In Barbara’s free time she enjoyed her plants and flowers in the yard, but most of all, she loved spending time with her husband and many cherished pets, including Squirt and Sidney.

Surviving is her loving husband of 52 years, John W. Schuler; brothers, Jerry (Caroline) Wade of Russell Springs, KY, Iva (Jewel) Wade of Windsor, KY, Milton (Brenda) Wade of Dunnville, KY, Castle Wade of Russell Springs, KY, Phillip Wade of Russell Springs, KY; sister, Wilma Wade of Lexington, KY; and special friend, Tina Buckhave.

She was preceded in death by her parents G. B. and Frances Wade.

Friends will be received Saturday, February 25, 2017, 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm at the First Baptist Church of Aurora, 6060 Blair Rd., Aurora, Indiana.
Services will be held at 4:00PM immediately following visitation with Pastor Bill Secrest officiating.
