Ball State won’t require masks or COVID tests for fully vaccinated students this fall

Muncie, IN — Ball State University says students who are fully vaccinated do not have to wear a mask on campus or be tested for COVID-19.

President Geoffrey Mearns says getting students vaccinated will allow for a more traditional campus experience during the fall semester.

Ball State students who are not vaccinated will have to be tested before returning to campus and will have to go through mandatory surveillance testing in the fall.
