Greensburg, In. —The Autism Awareness Picnic will be held Saturday, April 6 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Dasi Center at 1314 North Liberty Circle.
The event includes tree planting ceremony to recognize the growth of the organization since 2008, a silent auction featuring original artwork by students and food. There will also be opportunities to learn about ABA Therapy (Applied Behavior Analysis, the steps to take to pursue an Autism diagnosis, enrollment in ABA Therapy Services, how to become a Registered Behavior Technician and additional resources for families with special needs.
All proceeds will be used to purchase outdoor playground equipment.
