Heaven gained an angel on Sunday, August 20, 2023, with the passing of Audrey Nell (Doyle) Hildebrand of Greensburg, Indiana. Audrey was 89 years young and the daughter of Edward and Georgia Doyle of Batesville. She was one of eight children.
Audrey served as a registered nurse for 42 years for various doctor’s offices and hospitals in Batesville and Greensburg.
Audrey is survived by her husband, Clifford Hildebrand; her sons: Paul Hildebrand and wife, Leah, of Milan, and Mike Hildebrand and wife, Ruthann, of Greenwood. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; sisters: Judy Doyle, in Pleasanton, Texas and Jane Hughes, in Lexington, KY; brothers: Pete Doyle, in Argyle, Texas and Dave Doyle, in Manilla, IN.
She was preceded in death by her son, Scott Hildebrand; brothers: John and Hap Doyle; and her sister, Doris Hoffman.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2023, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 25, 2023, at 11:00 am with Pastor Greg Redd officiating. Burial will follow at the Methodist Cemetery in Batesville.
