Audrey Lynn Phillips, a devoted caregiver and cherished family member, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, in Harrison, Ohio. Born on July 8, 1965, in Jackson, Mississippi, Audrey lived a life marked by compassion, dedication, and enduring love for those around her.

Audrey’s professional life was deeply rooted in service to others; she worked as a nurse’s aide and a daycare for many years. Through her role, she touched the lives of countless children and families, providing warmth, comfort, and attentive care. Her gentle spirit and unwavering commitment to nurturing those in her charge defined both her career and her character.

On September 19, 1983, Audrey married Thomas Phillips in Cincinnati, Ohio. Their union was a cornerstone of her life, filled with mutual respect and shared joys. Together, they built a loving family that reflected Audrey’s values and care. She is survived by her devoted husband Thomas Phillips, her daughters Carrie McDaniel (Joseph) and Samantha Vanmeter (Clayton), and her treasured grandchildren Joseph, Jade, Addie, CJ, Lucy, and Shirley. Audrey’s family was further enriched by the presence of her sister Stacia Stewart, her brother Ray Douglas (Robin), and her father Aubrey Douglas.

Audrey’s mother, Linda (nee: Hayes) Douglas, preceded her in death, leaving memories that her family holds dear.
