An Osgood man accused of robbing the K & K Mart in Sunman with a gun is behind bars in the Ripley County Jail.
Police say Michael Raisley walked into the store early Tuesday morning and demanded money from an employee, allegedly taking more than $300 from the register before fleeing the scene.
A local school took precautionary steps as authorities conducted a manhunt. Police interviewed witnesses, collected evidence and posted a surveillance photo on Facebook which led to an arrest warrant.
Raisley was apprehended Thursday morning by the Ripley County Sheriff’s Office. He is currently in custody awaiting an initial hearing for suspicion of Armed Robbery (Class B felony).
If convicted, he could serve a jail sentence between 6-20 years.
