SOUTHEASTERN IN — There was a slight increase in the number of COVID-19 cases reported in our area Tuesday.
According to numbers released by the Indiana Department of Health (IDOH), Dearborn County had five new cases and two deaths; Ripley County reported four positives; Decatur County had three, and Franklin County had two positive cases.
Southeastern Indiana had seen the number of positive cases in the single digits in previous days.
Statewide, IDOH on Tuesday reported 532 confirmed cases and 37 deaths.
Indiana’s seven-day positivity stood at 6 percent.
