Area could be threatened by strong to severe storms Friday

Southeastern IN — We could be in for some rough weather tomorrow throughout Southeastern Indiana. The National Weather Service says the threat for severe storms and flash flooding is increasing for Friday afternoon and evening. Forecasters say these storms will bring an enhanced risk of damaging winds, with some risk for large hail and maybe a tornado as well. Flash flooding may also occur with torrential rain in some storms. Franklin County is under an Enhanced Risk for severe weather tomorrow. Ripley, Dearborn, and Decatur counties are under a Slight Risk.
