Batesville, IN — The Indiana Court of Appeal’s civics education outreach program Appeals on Wheels will make a stop at Batesville High School on Thursday, October 20 at 10 am.

A three-judge panel – which will include Southeastern Indiana native Leanna Wiesmann – will hear live, in-person arguments in a case out of Indianapolis.

The event in the BHS Auditorium is open to the public and the audience will have a chance to ask the judges questions about the judiciary following the argument.

However, the judges are unable to speak about the specific case.

A synopsis of the case can be found here.
