Antoinette “Nettie” Bulach, age 100, of Sunman

Antoinette “Nettie” Bulach, age 100, of Sunman, was born on October 26, 1922, in New Alsace, a daughter to Joseph and Bertha Feller Vogelsang.  She married Joseph Bulach on November 26, 1942, at St. Paul Catholic Church in New Alsace.  Nettie retired from Campell Hausfeld in Harrison and was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church.  She was an avid quilter and enjoyed baking.  Nettie loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and baking for them – their favorites were her cinnamon coffee cake and homemade chocolate pie.  On Saturday, September 30, 2023, she passed away at St. Andrews Health Campus in Batesville.

Those surviving who will cherish Nettie’s memory include her children, Dorothy (Tim) Frensemeier of Lawrenceville, and Joe (Ella) Bulach of Sunman; 6 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.  Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Charles Bulach; 3 brothers, Raphael, Charles, and Leo Vogelsang and 5 sisters, Loretta McCann, Bernita Weekly, Rose Hornberger, Margaret Knecht, and Frances Robinson.

Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, October 5, 2023, from 9 until 11 a.m. at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home, 107 Vine Street, Sunman.  Father Vincent Lampert will officiate the Mass of Christian burial at 11:30 a.m. at St. Peter’s Catholic Church.  She will be laid to rest next to her husband in the church cemetery.
