Anna Duncan 94, of Aurora passed away Saturday January 28, 2017 at Ripley Crossing at Milan. Anna was born Monday July 17, 1922 in Scioto County, Ohio the daughter of Mathus and Vina (Cremeans) McFarland. She married Herbert (Pete) Duncan May 31, 1939 and he preceded her in death January 1, 1996. Anna was a homemaker and a former employee of Tandy’s Clothing Store in Aurora. She was a member of the Holman Christian Union Church and the Friendly Neighbors Club. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, visiting with her friends and neighbors, and spending time with her family.
Anna is survived by son, Danny Duncan and daughter Ann (Dennis) Elder both of Aurora, sister Norma Jean Kaltenbach of Kettering, Ohio, grandchildren David and Joe Duncan, Cynthia Alexander, and Jason and Paul Elder; great grandchildren Megan, Robert, Katie, Rebecca, Duncan, Camryn, Wyatt, Cole, Liberty, and Zane, several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
Funeral services for Anna will be conducted at 1PM on Friday February 3, at Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home, Milan with Pastor Charles Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery at Cleves, Ohio. Visitation will also be Friday 11-1 at the funeral home.
