Allen Eugene Haase, 58, of Milan passed away Saturday, August 3, 2024, at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Eugene was born on Friday, January 28, 1966, in Arlington, Texas; son of Delmer and Elsie (Mullins) Haase. Eugene worked as a truck driver for Lunsford’s trucking. He enjoyed fishing, working on cars, and building projects. Eugene was known to always be there for anybody, and especially loved all of his family and friends.
Eugene will be missed by his son Joseph Allen Calender (Linzy) of Dillsboro; daughter Rebecca Chandler Bruce (Scott) of Dillsboro; parents Delmer and Elsie Haase of Milan; sisters Sherlie Diane Haase of Milan and Linda Leann Howder (Timothy) of Norman, Indiana; and grandchildren Natalie Roze Calender, Emma Mae Bruce, and Hailey Rose Bruce.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM, Thursday, August 8, 2024, at the Milan First Baptist Church; 112 S. Main Street, Milan, IN 47031. Services will immediately follow at 11:00 AM with Pastor Harris Long and Pastor Tom Holt officiating. Memorials may be given in honor of Eugene to the family.
