EDINBURGH, IN — Afghan refugees started arriving at Camp Atterbury near Edinburgh late last week.
The facility will house up to 5,000 people, with evacuees arriving in groups of 1,000 at a time.
Indiana Adjutant General Dale Lyles says all of the refugees have been identified and vetted.
They will spend two weeks in quarantine and then will be allowed to leave the camp to settle anywhere in the United States.
