Brookville, IN — The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department was dispatched to the intersection of US 52 and SR 1 on late Thursday morning for an overturned semi and trailer in the eastbound lane of US 52. The truck rolled off the roadway and came to a rest in the ditch on the embankment of the railroad tracks.
Crews were on the scene for over 4 hours for crash clean-up and investigation. Mutual aid was provided at the scene by Cedar Grove Fire, Rescue 24, and Franklin County EMS.
