Hope, IN — Monday evening the Hope Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to the area of State Road 9 and 450 North for a motor vehicle accident with injury. Upon arrival on the scene, an IU Health LifeLine helicopter was requested to transport one of the patients to Indianapolis for treatment of an injury. A second patient was transported by Columbus Regional Hospital EMS to Columbus Regional Health ER. The fire department remained on scene to assist with cleanup once the crash investigation was completed by the Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office. The Hope Police Department also assisted at the scene.
