Hobert J. Brinson, age 80 of Osgood, Indiana very unexpectedly passed away June 21, 2016. He was born March 28, 1936 in Somerset, Kentucky to the late Christopher and Hessie D. Brinson. He had been married to Anita Maxine Brinson who preceded him in death in 2001.
Hobe, as he was most commonly known, was a past twenty three year employee of American Lifts of Greensburg. His job had taken all over the US and Canada setting up these huge lifts. Racing was perhaps his greatest hobby! He was extremely talented, involved from the ground floor of building the car, doing the mechanics to racing the car. Hobe and his family traveled to different places in the US enjoying racing and just being together as a family. As he grew older, he followed NASCAR racing on television, shouting the loudest for Jeff Gordon which was his favorite. He was a tall cowboy like man, that wore his cowboy hat, actually did a lot of singing and had a beautiful smile for everyone! He loved children, he loved his community and he loved life!
