Herman Duke Wyatt, age 81, of Greenwood, Indiana and formerly of Brookville, died Sunday night March 6, 2016 at his residence.
Born January 6, 1935 in Metamora, Indiana he was the son of the late James & Susan (Rowland) Wyatt. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. On August 4, 1956 he was united in marriage to the former Mary Lou Brown, and she preceded him in death on February 9, 2007.
Duke was a retired Truck driver, in his leisure time he enjoyed Golfing and spending time with his family & friends.
Survivors include a daughter, Regina Wyatt of Indianapolis, Indiana; a grandson, Cole Wyatt of Indianapolis, Indiana; two sisters, Goldie Bennett Slaven of Brookville, Indiana and Kathleen Kitchen of Hereford, Arizona.
In addition to his parents and wife, Mary Lou, he was preceded in death by five sisters and six brothers.
Family & friends may visit from 9 until 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home. Burial will then follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Brookville.
