The BMS 7th Grade Volleyball Team played a solid match, but still fell to Milan 25-20, 25-21. The Bulldogs had many attacks at the net. Shalee Harrington earned 3 kills in the front line, while Grace Habig, Kylie Laker, and Nikki Fox each had 2 kills. Belle Wolters contributed a kill. Top servers were Wolters with 6 points including 2 aces and Fox with 4 points including 4 aces. The team’s record drops to 3-5.
The BMS 8th Grade Volleyball Team defeated Milan in 2 games. Scores were 25-15; 25-22. Anna Bauer led the team in serving with 10 points including 5 aces. Macy Prickel contributed 5 points, while Jade Pflum, Biz Mullen, and Abby Westerfeld each chipped
in with 4. Kayla Meyer, Prickel, and Westerfeld all had 2 kills at the net to help secure the win. The team’s record improves to 5-3 on the season.
The teams will travel to Sunman Dearborn on Monday and be at home vs. St. Louis on Tuesday.
