Bulldogs Tracksters Win Hosted 4-Way Meet

Track & FieldTonight Batesville track and field team closes out the regular meet schedule victorious as the remaining meets this season are Invitationals and tournaments. Batesville hosted Jac-Cen-Del, Hauser and North Decatur. Many individuals were crowned champions and again there were many personal records broken. Before we get to those…the teams scores were, for the boys-Batesville-136, Hauser-56, North Decatur-29 and JCD-21. Girls-Batesville-121, Hauser and North Decatur both with 40 and JCD-39.

With four teams competing against each other, awards and points were awarded to the top 5 places in all individual events and the top 3 in the relays. There were overall 11 events that Batesville claimed both 1st and 2nd place and broke 47 personal records! Those that earned points and received ribbons are listed below.

Individual champions for the Bulldogs were:

4 x 400m relay-Peter Heil, Tanner Ayette, Alex Jorgensen, Michael Tunny (3:49) and Haley Harmeyer, Maddie Pierson, Sarah Poltrack and Audrey Hall (4:29).
