Tonight Batesville track and field team closes out the regular meet schedule victorious as the remaining meets this season are Invitationals and tournaments. Batesville hosted Jac-Cen-Del, Hauser and North Decatur. Many individuals were crowned champions and again there were many personal records broken. Before we get to those…the teams scores were, for the boys-Batesville-136, Hauser-56, North Decatur-29 and JCD-21. Girls-Batesville-121, Hauser and North Decatur both with 40 and JCD-39.
With four teams competing against each other, awards and points were awarded to the top 5 places in all individual events and the top 3 in the relays. There were overall 11 events that Batesville claimed both 1st and 2nd place and broke 47 personal records! Those that earned points and received ribbons are listed below.
