James Ernest Holliday, 64, of Moores Hill passed away Friday, November 6, 2026. James was born on Thursday, April 19, 1962, in Cincinnati; son of Herbert and Olivette (Peyton) Holliday. James worked at Walmart in Aurora for over 30 years and was a member of the Milan United Methodist Church. He was also a member of Woody’s Car Club in Bright. James loved going to church, attending car shows, and taking care of his plants. He enjoyed going out to flea markets and swap meets. James was also known to be an avid UK basketball fan and Cincinnati Bengals fan.
James will be missed by his brother David Wayne Holliday of Moores Hill.
James was preceded in death by his parents Herbert and Olivette Holliday and one brother.
Family and friends may gather in remembering James from 11:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 11, 2026, at Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home in Milan. Services will begin at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at New Craven Cemetery. Memorials may be given in honor of James to Milan United Methodist Church.
