Nominations Open for SR Athletic HOF

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2027 Class of the South Ripley Athletic Hall of Fame.

If you would like to nominate a graduate of South Ripley for this honor, please make sure that they are eligible under the following criteria:

• Ten years must have passed since any athlete has competed before they are eligible to be nominated.
• Five years must have passed after completion of their tenure as a coach.
• Special contributor and posthumous nominations will be considered immediately on an individual basis.

An individual must meet at least one of the following criteria to be considered:

1. A part of SRHS as a student-athlete, coach, or someone who has performed meritorious service to athletics or otherwise at SRHS.
2. Graduate of SRHS who has made significant contribution to SRHS, directly or indirectly, as an athlete, coach, or special contributor. Examples of outstanding accomplishments could include, school record holder, individual sectional champion, all state, all conference, etc. 
3. Graduate of SRHS who has achieved at a high level beyond high school and brought notoriety to SRHS through other venues other than athletics.

Nominations are kept on file for five years and will be considered each year.

After five years, a candidate will have to be re-nominated.
