(Indianapolis) — Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton is out again.
Haliburton has a left hamstring strain and will miss time, ESPN’s Shams Charania reported Wednesday. The Pacers have not announced a timeline for his return.
The Pacers’ official injury report at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday listed Haliburton as questionable for tonight’s home game against Philadelphia with left hamstring tightness. He has since been ruled out for the 7 p.m. game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
The injury interrupts a comeback four games old. Haliburton missed all of last season with a torn Achilles suffered in Game 7 of the 2025 NBA Finals, then returned this season averaging 21.8 points and 9.5 assists a night on 52% shooting.
He played both ends of a Sunday-Monday back-to-back, then acknowledged after Monday’s game in Milwaukee that he felt “a little beat up.” He was seen with a heating pad on his hamstring during that game.
Pacers coach Rick Carlisle said, “We’ll hope this hamstring thing is not a big deal or not any kind of a long-term thing. But as I said, we’ll know more about that later this evening.”
Haliburton’s absence leaves an already thin Pacers roster thinner. T.J. McConnell (right hamstring strain), Ivica Zubac (left ankle sprain), Ben Sheppard (torn left meniscus) and Johnny Furphy (ACL surgery recovery) are all out, and Andrew Nembhard is questionable with neck soreness. Indiana went 19-63 last season without Haliburton.
WRBI will carry tonight’s game against Philadelphia, with pregame coverage starting at 6:30 p.m. on 103.9 FM, and The WRBI App.
