Mr. Douglas “Doug” Loren Edwards, age 56, of Vevay, Indiana, was found deceased on Tuesday October 13, 2026, at his residence. Doug entered this life on April 10, 1970 in Madison, Indiana. He was the son of Ronald C. “Ron” Edwards who died on December 11, 2001 and Cheryl Kay (Lucas) McMillan. Doug was raised in East Enterprise, Indiana and was a 1988 graduate of Switzerland County High School. Doug was united in marriage on October 26, 1996 to Theresa Lynn Meisberger in East Enterprise, Indiana. Doug was a former iron worker for over 25 years for Cincinnati Local Union #44. Doug enjoyed riding four-wheelers and socializing with his friends and family.
Doug is survived by his son, Nathan Edwards and his wife, Caitlyn of Florence, IN; his daughter, Natalie Edwards of Hanover, IN; his mother, Cheryl Kay (Lucas) McMillan of Vevay, IN; his brother, Lee Edwards of Vevay, IN; his nephew, Sam Edwards of Vevay, IN; his great-niece, Isabelle Edwards of Vevay, IN; and his aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald C. “Ron” Edwards, died December 11, 2001; his infant twin daughters, Maggie May Edwards, died September 30, 1997 and Mollie Ann Edwards, died November 17, 1997.
