The Pirates end the year at 13-4…Oldenburg Academy shut out Union County 2-nil at Class 1A Sectional 44 at Jac-Cen-Del. Adam Weber and Rylan Hill scored the Twisters’ goals. Damien Brelege had an assist. The OA defense limited the Patriots to five shots on goal. Oldenburg netminder Ryan Hautman recorded two saves…Also at JCD, it was South Ripley over Rising Sun 5-2. Caitlin Clark has expressed her desire to have Kelsey Mitchell back with the Indiana Fever. Clark held her exit interview press conference on Thursday. In it, she said she feels she and Mitchell, as a backcourt, had the best season in the WNBA. Mitchell was third in the vote for league MVP honors. Clark was fourth behind A’ja Wilson, who took home the award again. Olivia Miles was second.
