MIFC Week 7 Report and Stat Leaders

Congratulations to the Mid-Indiana Football Conference offensive, defensive and special teams’ players of the week.

South Decatur quarterback Braxton Evans is the offensive player week after he completed 15 of 25 passes for 207 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions in the Cougars’ 25-21 Week 7 win at Switzerland County.

Milan’s Kolton Harris is the co-defensive player of the week after he recorded three solo tackles, three assists, one and a half tackles for loss, a fumble recovery, an interception and a pass breakup in the Indians’ 55-0 thumping of Providence.

South Decatur’s Kaiden Asche and Landon Rohls from North Decatur are the co-special teamers of the week.

Asche returned a kickoff 70 yards for a touchdown and returned one punt for 35 yards.

Rohls was 8-for-8 on extra points, kicked off 10 times for 495 yards (49.5-yard average), and had a touchback in the Chargers’ 64-0 pasting of Union County.
