(Greensburg, IN) – Decatur County Commissioners voted this week to sign a Deed Sale Addendum to take possession of 23 lots at Lake McCoy.
The lots have been circulating through the tax sale process.
All three commissioners – Jeremy Pasel, Gabriel Nobbe and Brian Wenning – say they don’t intend for the county to become a property owner there, but they want to look into concerns at Lake McCoy, correct the ongoing issues, and put the lots up for sale.
Commissioners noted that it costs the county money to advertise and attempt to sell whenever the lots go on the market.
