Larry Eugene Morrison, age 87, of Milan, passed away Monday, September 28, 2026, at his home. Larry was born September 1, 1939, in West Union, Ohio.
He served in the United States Navy and later worked as a mechanic for the City of Cincinnati, where he met some lifelong friends before retiring at the age of 55. Larry was a simple, private man with a small, trusted circle of people he knew and trusted. He took pride in his home and property and loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, shooting, fishing, boating and spending time at Lake Erie, riding his motorcycle, and attending gun shows with his two favorite buddies. He also had a passion for racing, and for many years his #5 stock car was a familiar sight at the dirt track— bringing him many victories and plenty of laps around the track with the checkered flag flying high.
Larry shared 45 years of his life with Pam Bulmer before her death last year and he also was preceded in death by his parents Norman “Poppy” Morrison and Loreen “Deanie” (Maddox) Morrison.
He will be missed by his son David (Ronda) Morrison of Chapel Hill, NC, daughter Kim (Mike) Humbert of Burlington, KY, and stepson Nick (Heather) Bulmer of Cincinnati, OH, and his grandchildren Madilyn Stewart, Max Humbert, Bella Bulmer, Gabbi Bulmer, and Brady Bulmer.
Family and friends may gather in remembering Larry from 10:00-11:00 a.m., Monday, October 5, 2026, at the Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home in Milan. Services will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Tom Holt officiating. Military rites provided by Milan American Legion Post #235 will follow the funeral services at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park in Hamilton, Ohio. Memorials may be given in honor of Larry to American Heart Association.
