(Batesville, IN) — The Oak & Vine has officially opened its doors in downtown Batesville.

The Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce celebrated the new business with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Sept. 17 at 308 E. Pearl St.
Owner Marv Thornsberry was joined by his son and general manager, Connor Thornsberry, along with employees, family, friends, Chamber representatives, and Batesville Mayor John Irrgang.
The Oak & Vine offers bourbon, wine, specialty beers, mixed drinks, and local favorites in a newly renovated space in downtown Batesville.
The business is located in a building Marv Thornsberry purchased in February. The former hair salon was renovated and transformed into the new bar.
The Oak & Vine is designed as a place for customers to relax, meet friends, and try a variety of drinks in a casual setting.
