(Franklin County, IN) – INDOT says a portion of U.S. 52 in Franklin County will be closed early next month.
Beginning on or around Monday, October 5, crews will shut down U.S. 52 near Brookville between State Road 244 and State Road 1 for a box culvert replacement project.
Work is expected to last through mid-November, depending on the weather.
The official detour for this project is State Road 1 to I-74 to State Road 3 to State Road 244.
Local traffic will have access up to the point of closure.
INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones.
