(Decatur County, IN) – Decatur County Emergency Management is dealing with the aftermath of a tornado siren that unexpectedly activated this week due to a malfunction.
The agency says there was an unexpected activation of the tornado siren on Monday when the controlling computer lost connection with the server.
Decatur County EMA says there was no severe weather in the area at the time, and that they are working with the maintenance provider to identify the source of the glitch and correct the problem.
