Batesville and Southwestern battled to a 1-1 draw in boys soccer Tuesday evening at the Dawg Pound.
After a scoreless first half, the Bulldogs’ Griffin Koester broke the deadlock by finding the back of the net with 32:56 remaining, finishing a scramble in the box from close range.
Batesville held the lead until the final minutes, when Southwestern chased down a ball through midfield and scored with 3:42 remaining.
