(Decatur County, IN) – Volunteer firefighters from St. Paul and Adams Township were kept busy over the past few days battling vehicle fires along U.S. 421.
One of the incidents took place on Saturday while another happened Tuesday evening (pictured).
You’re reminded to use extra caution while traveling thru the area.
There’s been an uptick in traffic, especially on U.S. 421 during the ongoing I-71 construction, and that has led to many drivers using 421 as an alternate route.
You’re reminded to slow down, remain alert, allow extra distance between you and the driver in front of you, and watch for emergency vehicles and personnel working along the roadway.
The Decatur County Sheriff’s Office and Duke Energy assisted at both scenes.
