The Milwaukee Brewers beat the Reds 10-7 in the series opener in downtown Cincinnati last night. The Brewers scored five runs in the top of the 5th inning to put the game away. Rhett Lowder took the loss and is now 6-9. He gave up six hits, seven runs (six earned) and four walks with two strikeouts in four innings. The Reds try to even the series tonight. Lefty Andrew Abbott (6-10, 4.49 ERA) makes the start for the Reds. Coverage begins at 6:10 on 103.9 FM.
