Mary McKinney Wilson, 88, passed away on August 25, 2026 in Lawrenceburg, IN.
Mary was born on January 03, 1938 in Wilmington, IN to parents Grant Dunaway and Esther (McKinney) Dunaway.
Mary married Charles William “Willy” Wilson, and they worked at Seagram’s Distillery for several years as well as owned and operated “Willys Stag Bar” in Lawrenceburg, Indiana
Mary was raised outside of Rising Sun, Indiana near Grant’s Creek, in a beautiful rural setting. She enjoyed the time she spent at the Wesleyan Pilgrim Holiness Church in Rising Sun, Indiana.
Mary is survived by her two sisters, Della Smithers and Martha “Dutch” Browning; her children, Robert (Tina) Satchwill, Marie (Michael Johnson) Satchwill, Vince Edward Satchwill, William Hanley (Barbara) Wilson, and Brian (Trish) Wilson; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Grant and Esther; her husband, Charles William “Willy” Wilson; her children, Charles Ray Satchwill, Teresa Satchwill, Debra Faye Satchwill Booth, Holly Satchwill Pope, and Douglas Wilson.
Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 from 4 until 5:30 pm, with a funeral service to follow at 5:30 pm. all at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the Dillsboro American Legion.
