The Arizona Diamondbacks shut out the Reds 9-0 in a game heard last last night on WRBI. The middle game of the series is tonight. Rhett Lowder (4-8, 5.17 ERA) starts for the Reds. Michael Soroka (8-3, 2.93 ERA) goes for the Diamondbacks. Coverage begins at 7:40 on 103.9 FM.

The Cincinnati Bengals host the Chicago Bears in NFL preseason action tonight. Bengals coach Zac Taylor says starters such as Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase will not play. The Indiana Fever clinched a spot in the WNBA playoffs with the Portland Fire’s loss to the Toronto Tempo last night. It’s the Fever’s third straight playoff appearance. Indiana visits the New York Liberty tonight. Tipoff is at 7:00. The road trip continues with the second of a back-to-back tomorrow evening against the Chicago Sky.
