Oldenburg Academy boys soccer fell to Lawrenceburg 3-1 on Wednesday. Connor Holder scored his first goal of the season in the first half for the Twisters’ lone tally. OA is back in action on Saturday when it hosts annual Twister Cup against Shawe Memorial, Seton Catholic and KIPP Indy.

The Reds came from behind to knock off the St. Louis Cardinals 5-4 in downtown Cincinnati in a game heard last night on WRBI. Cincinnati trailed 2-0 until Sal Stewart’s three-run homer to centerfield in the bottom of the 6th inning put the Reds ahead for good. It was Stewart’s 27th home run of the season. He also leads Major League Baseball with 94 runs batted in. Chase Burns gave up two earned runs on six hits with two walks and eight strikeouts over five innings. Sam Moll (2-7) got the win in relief, and Emilio Pagan notched his 16th save. The rubber match of the five-game series is this afternoon. Brady Singer (5-1, 4.66 ERA) makes the start for the Reds. The Cardinals will go with Michael McGreevy (5-9, 3.48 ERA). Coverage begins on 103.9 FM following the Noon news block.

The Indiana Fever visits the Dallas Wings in WNBA action tonight. Indiana has won a season-high five straight and is 24 and 12 on the year. Tipoff in “Big D” is at 8 p.m.
