(Greensburg, IN) – The Hospital Foundation of Decatur County’s 2026 Event ‘Fore’ Caring raised $19,353 to support healthcare initiatives that benefit patients and families throughout Decatur County.
The fundraiser at North Branch Golf Course brought together local businesses, community members, and healthcare supporters for a day of golf, camaraderie, and philanthropy.
Proceeds from the annual event will help advance the Foundation’s mission of supporting high-quality healthcare and enhancing services available through Decatur County Memorial Hospital (DCMH).
“We are incredibly grateful to our sponsors, golfers, volunteers, and supporters who stuck with us through the date change and helped make Event ‘Fore’ Caring such a great day,” said Mandy Lohrum, Director of the Hospital Foundation. “After having to postpone our original date, we were so excited to finally get everyone out on the course. The forecast looked like it would rain all day, but thankfully it held off and allowed us to enjoy a wonderful outing. We truly appreciate everyone’s flexibility and continued support. Their generosity makes a real difference and helps ensure our patients continue to have access to exceptional care close to home.”
