
(Southeastern IN) – Ripley County was placed under a Yellow Travel Advisory after flash flooding caused road closures throughout the county.
You’re reminded that if you come upon high water while driving, to use an alternate route, and to “Turn around, don’t drown.”
All of the low water crossings or slabs in Franklin County were closed because of flooding.
The City of Greensburg is advising motorists of high water in the community caused by the heavy rainfall.
Franklin County and Sunman-Dearborn schools closed today; many others around the area started on a two-hour delay because of flooding and road closures caused by downed trees and power lines.
