(New Point, IN) – New Point Stone and Harrison Sand and Gravel have been purchased by Indianapolis-based US Aggregates.

The new owner says the deal will strengthen local operations while maintaining continuity for employees and customers.

Five quarries and two plants in Southeastern Indiana will be under the US Aggregates umbrella as a result of the transaction.

Ken Wanstrath, President of New Point Stone, said the decision to partner with US Aggregates was rooted in shared values and a commitment to the future success of employees and customers.

“After careful consideration, it became clear that US Aggregates was the right partner for New Point Stone and Harrison Sand and Gravel,” said Wanstrath. “They understand our business, our people and the importance of the relationships we have built over generations. I am confident this partnership will create new opportunities for our employees and customers while preserving the values and reputation that have defined our company for more than a century.”

“This acquisition is an important step in the continued growth of US Aggregates,” said Caleb Brown, President of US Aggregates. “New Point Stone and Harrison Sand and Gravel have built a strong business with an outstanding reputation, talented employees and deep roots in the communities they serve. We are excited to welcome their team to the US Aggregates family and build on the foundation they have created.
