(Franklin County, IN) – Survey teams from the National Weather Service are expected to visit the area around St. Peters Road in southern Franklin County to look over significant damage left behind by a possible tornado on Saturday evening.
A barn was destroyed in the area, and survey crews from the weather service will determine exactly what happened and whether a tornado was responsible for the damage.
There were no injuries reported.
Meanwhile, residents who were impacted by the storm and had damage such as a house or building hit are urged to message the Franklin County Emergency Management Agency through Facebook or call dispatch at (765) 647-4138.
