(Batesville, IN) – Batesville Middle School students can get a head start on the new school year during Locker Night and an open house Monday, Aug. 10.
The event will run from 5 to 6 p.m. at the school.
BMS Student Council members will be available to help students open and organize their lockers. They can also provide school tours for incoming sixth graders and students who are new to the district.
Teachers and other BMS staff members will attend to meet students, parents and guardians as families prepare for the 2026-27 school year.

When: Monday, Aug. 10, from 5 to 6 p.m.
Where: Batesville Middle School
Entrances: Door A at the front of the school and Door L near the gym lobby
What students should bring
Students are encouraged to bring their school supplies so they can organize their lockers before classes begin. They should also bring their assigned locker number and combination.
Doors will open at exactly 5 p.m.
