(Versailles/Indianapolis, IN) – After more than 25 years of service, Indiana State Police Master Trooper Larry Noah is retiring from Indiana State Police.
Master Trooper Noah is a native of Versailles Indiana and a 1996 graduate of South Ripley Jr/Sr. High School.
He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology/Psychology from Franklin College in 2000.
Noah was selected to attend the 61st Indiana State Police Recruit Academy, which he successfully completed on June 24, 2001.
After graduation from the academy, Master Trooper Noah was assigned to the Versailles Post, where he served until transferring to the Indianapolis Post in 2024.
During his ISP career, he served on the Mobile Field Force Team, as a member of the Honor Guard and a Field Training Officer.
Noah received a combat action award for bravery during a critical incident along with a Distinguished Service Award.
He has also received multiple awards for his DUI enforcement efforts throughout his career.
Although he is retiring from ISP, his public service is not over; Noah will begin a new position as a school resource officer at Greenfield-Central Schools.
Master Trooper Noah lives in Greenfield with his wife and two sons.
