
(Ripley/Dearborn Counties, IN) – Several trees were toppled by storms that rolled through southern Ripley and into Dearborn County Tuesday afternoon.
Friendship volunteer firefighters were called to the 3600 block of Friendship Road around 3:40 p.m. to remove a tree blocking the road.
The wind damage extended from County Road 175 East, across 750 South, State Road 62, Friendship Road, County Road 300 South, and into the department’s Dearborn County service area to Grelle and Sangamaw roads.
Firefighters say damage was widespread but minor.
No one was hurt.
