Mark Richmond, 76, of Versailles passed Sunday, July 19, 2026 at his home. He was born in Milan on November 13, 1949, the son of Vern and Isabel Hooton Richmond. Survivors include his daughters; Heather Richmond of Washington, IN, Carrie (Kevin) Roberts of Port Charlotte, FL, and Mandy (Jacob) Hinchman of Shelbyville, grandchildren; Conner Hinchman, Kailey Hinchman both of Shelbyville, Tyler (Alicia) Baldwin of Greenwood, Tanner (Nicole) Baldwin of Shelbyville, Miles (Erica) Baldwin of Greensburg, and Tripper (Jaslyn) Baldwin of St. Paul, Thirteen great grandchildren, three brothers; Gary (Debbie) Richmond of Greensburg, Mike (Cheryl) Richmond of Versailles and Rick Richmond of Vero Beach, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson James Saylor. Mark graduated from South Ripley High School in 1968, where he held the highest batting average for over thirty years. He retired from Print Pak after 35 Years. Mark enjoyed all kinds of sports and played in the Greensburg Mens Softball Leagues for many years. He met and had many great friends he met at work and on the field. He was an avid music listener, where you could walk in his house at any time and he would have music playing. A memorial service will be held 11:00am, Thursday, July 23, 2026 at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Roger Dean officiating and visitation will be from 9am till the time of service. Memorial may be made to the donor’s choice in care of the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles.
