Friday’s schedule at the Ripley County Fair features one of the week’s biggest traditions — the annual 4-H Livestock Auction — along with livestock competitions and grandstand entertainment.
Non-auction animals will be released from 7 to 10 a.m. The Mini 4-H Animal Showmanship begins at 8 a.m., followed by the Supreme Showmanship Contest at 10 a.m.
The annual 4-H Livestock Auction begins at 3 p.m., showcasing the hard work and accomplishments of local 4-H exhibitors.
Exhibit halls will be open from 5 to 9 p.m., while the midway operates from 6 to 10 p.m.
Friday’s featured grandstand event is the Truck Drags, beginning at 7 p.m. Grandstand admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children.
Auction animals will be released beginning at 8 p.m.
