rsday’s schedule at the Ripley County Fair features a full day of goat competitions, family activities and an evening of traditional fair entertainment.
The Dairy Goat Show begins at 9 a.m., followed by a free Farm Bureau lunch for 4-H families from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Meat Goat Show starts at 1 p.m., with the Pygmy Goat Show following later in the day.
Exhibit halls will be open from 5 to 9 p.m., giving visitors the chance to view fair exhibits and projects. The Horse and Pony Fun Show begins at 6 p.m., and the midway will be open from 6 to 10 p.m.
Thursday’s featured grandstand event is the Horse Pulls, beginning at 7:30 p.m. Grandstand admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children.
