Wednesday’s schedule at the Ripley County Fair features livestock competitions, family activities and an evening of high-speed racing at the grandstands.
The Beef Show begins at 10 a.m., followed by rabbit events throughout the afternoon and evening. Rabbit Meat Pen Weigh-in starts at 2 p.m., Showmanship begins at 4 p.m., and the Rabbit Show follows at 5 p.m.
Exhibit halls will be open from 5 to 9 p.m., giving fairgoers the opportunity to view this year’s exhibits and projects.
The Horse and Pony Freestyle Show and the Lil’ Miss and Mister Contest both begin at 6 p.m. The midway also opens at 6 p.m., with $30 unlimited ride wristbands available.
Wednesday’s featured grandstand event is All Star TQ Midget Racing, beginning at 7 p.m. Grandstand admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children, with pit admission available for $30.
