Dixon, Rosenqvist to Arrow McLaren

A massive shake-up in the driver lineup at Arrow McLaren for the next IndyCar season has been announced by the racing team.

Six-time IndyCar series champion Scott Dixon and reigning Indianapolis 500 champ Felix Rosenqvist are joining Arrow McLaren after agreeing to multi-year deals.

The 45-year-old Dixon won IndyCar championships in 2003, 2008, 2013, 2015, ,2018, and 2020, and took the checkered flag at the 2008 Indy 500.

Chip Ganassi Racing announced last week that Dixon informed the team that he is not returning in 2027.

Rosenqvist announced last month that he departing Meyer Shank Racing (MSR) at the end of the current IndyCar season.

The 34-year-old from Sweden has been with MSR for the past three seasons, and previously raced for Arrow McLaren from 2021 through 2023.

Dixon and Rosenqvist are replacing Nolan Siegel and Christian Lundgaard.

The team already includes Pato O’Ward, a two-time Indy 500 runner-up.

In addition, Ryan Hunter-Reay will be a one-off driver next May in Indianapolis, which means Arrow McLaren will have three former winners in next year’s Indy 500 lineup.
